We are looking for motivated and professional individuals who want to gain experience and work at one of the World’s most famous events, Royal Ascot.

Ascot is looking for Event People to fill a number of roles within the Bet with Ascot team at this year's Royal Ascot. 

We are looking for people who are confident, organised and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst ensuring that the spectators have a great experience! Candidates need to be able to work for the duration of the event and be free for the 'selection day' prior, with a date for this to be confirmed once applied.

About the Role:

'Selection' Dates (April & May) – You will need to attend one of the 'selection' dates, held at the Racecourse by Bet with Ascot's team! The purpose of this day is for you to impress the team and show them how much you want to be part of the Royal Ascot experience. You will be paid for your time; however, this is NOT a guaranty that you will be working the event. This decision will be based on your performance on the selection day. 

Successful candidates will have the chance not only to work all 5 Royal Ascot shifts, but also attend a majority of the race days on Ascot's calendar throughout the year (pre and post Royal Ascot 2024)!

Training: 

Returners (staff who have previously worked at the racecourse) will need to attend a half-day training, as Bet with Ascot is in the process of implementing some changes to their betting system ahead of 2024!

All staff will need to complete 1 hr FLOW online training prior to Royal Ascot 2024, which will be added towards your final pay!

Royal Ascot Live Dates – 18th to 22nd of June

Selection Dates – 21st of March; 24th of April; 25th of April; & 7th of May

Times - 10:00 am – 19:00 pm each day

Pay:

Event staff - £12.82 per hour; Team leader - £14.65 per hour; Manager - £17.93 per hour

Travel and Expenses –

1 hours additional pay will be provided daily to help cover the costs of travel. Lunch will also be provided.

Selected candidates will need to collect their uniform post their training day but prior to their first Royal Ascot shift. 2 hours additional pay will be provided for your time towards your final pay.
