The Role
The Asset Management Intern will play a key role in supporting the Asset Management team in maintaining and enhancing Mileway's property portfolio. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the real estate sector, working closely with experienced professionals to understand the intricacies of asset management. The intern will assist the asset management team in various tasks, including site visits, preparing marketing materials, approval processes and evaluating market trends. This role is designed to provide valuable insights into the property industry, foster professional growth, and contribute to the success of Mileway's mission to be the number one gateway to urban communities.
We are seeking an intern to spend 6 weeks working at one of the above listed regional offices. As an intern, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
● Undertaking site visits alongside experienced Asset Managers.
● Joining the Asset Management team to understand the responsibilities involved in managing a property portfolio.
● Collaborating with the marketing team to prepare campaigns targeting new customers.
● Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials for vacant properties.
● Reviewing our environmental data and gaining an understanding of our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Strategy.
● Preparing and presenting real-world case studies and evaluating local and regional markets.
● Verifying and enhancing the quality of data on our property portfolio.
● Liaising with external advisors, such as building surveyors and contractors
● Evaluating the existing portfolio to identify opportunities to enhance its customer appeal.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in the real estate sector and contribute to the success of our property portfolio.
Requirements
1. You are eligible for this role if you are either a University student or a Gap Year student.
2. A range of degrees and A Levels / BTECs subjects (or equivalents) will be considered.
a. If you study Real Estate or a property-related degree at an RICS-accredited university,
you are especially encouraged to apply.
3. Achieved GCSE Maths and English grades A/9 to C/4.
4. Interns must have access to a vehicle and hold a full UK drivers licence.
