The role
Symonds & Sampson LLP are seeking a Newly Qualified or Graduate Rural Surveyor to join our Burraton House team in Dorchester, Dorset.
The role offers the opportunity for an individual to undertake and develop a wide variety of work types and become part of a growing young progressive team. This is an opportunity where the right candidate can develop and progress their career to the highest level.
Working with the Partners, Rural Partner and colleagues to continue to grow the office by creating new and maintaining existing relationships with other professionals and clients, the successful candidate will undertake work types including but not limited to:
- Countryside stewardship, SFI and Grant Funding advice
- General professional advice for rural clients
- Valuations of rural property for all purposes
- Planning for all rural development
- Landlord & Tenant matters
- Compensation claims, utilities and telecoms
There is a particular opportunity for a candidate with a specific interest or specialism in rural grant funding work to pick up on and expand an existing workload.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree
- A good, practical understanding of UK farming systems and current rural grant funding opportunities
- Full UK Driving licence
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to produce clear, concise and accurate written and verbal communication
