Innovation for Agriculture (IfA) is an independent organisation working with farmers to develop knowledge that will ensure farming is sustainable, resilient, and productive.
IfA connects farmers with farming research by running practical and interactive workshops, farm walks and events to ensure practice with science.
Requirements
Essential
- Educated to MSc Degree level in Agriculture/ Regenerative Agronomy/ Soils
- Practical agricultural experience with a technical understanding of inputs, soils, and water management
- Produce reports, newsletter articles and presentations.
- Team player
- IT skills and use of digital tool experience
- Ability to travel, flexible working hours to cover events and away trips.
- Understanding of Project Management techniques
- Personal and communication skills
- Car and full license
Desirable
- Experience of working with farmers
- Understanding of research process
- Knowledge of sustainable soils management and climate change
Personal Skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to working.
