We have 7 regional offices in the Midlands, and an office in London allowing us to work closely with clients with land & property interests throughout the Midlands & beyond.

About the Role:
As a member of our Rural team, you will be involved in a wide variety of work, overseen by experienced members of staff, which will involve advising clients ranging from individual property owners and buyers to national developers and investors looking to maximise their
property portfolios.

The type of work will be varied and be dependent on the candidate, but examples of the work undertaken by the successful candidates would include the following:
• Property Agency – marketing reports, take-ons, advertising, negotiations, sales chasing.
• Valuations - assisting valuers with Red Book valuations – inspections and evidence gathering.
• RPA – dealing with SFI, mid-tier, capital grant and other scheme applications
• Management - assisting with the management of land held under FBTs and GK agreements as well as Contract Farming arrangements.
• Planning – assistance with the submission of planning applications.
• Compensation Claims – dealing with any claims for crop loss or damage
• Plans - production of plans using The Land App for various purposes.
• Comparables - management and upkeep of the company comparable database.
• Dispersal Sales – assisting at Farm Dispersal Auction, Collective and Fodder Sales.

This list is not intended to be exhaustive and you will have other duties and responsibilities that fall within the remit of the role.

About You:
To be eligible for this role you need to:
• Have strong interpersonal and networking capabilities
• Be self-motivated, flexible and prepared to perform a range of duties, regularly taking on new challenges
• Have good time management and organisational skills, taking ownership of your workload and professional development, whilst delivering to deadlines.
• Have sound analytical skills and good judgement to inform decisions and provide opinions or advice to others
• Have a full, clean UK driving licence with access to own transport
• Be willing to embrace the local area and are encouraged to get involved in activities outside work which involve you in the local community
