How to Apply

Based in Cardiff, Cooke & Arkwright is one of the foremost property consultancy firms in Wales. We are a multi-discipline practice and together with the Land Agency department offer services including Business Rating, Office & Industrial Agency, Valuation, Landlord & Tenant, Retail, and Development Land to a variety of clients throughout the British Isles.

Role Description
An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Surveyor in our Land Agency Department. The role initially will be to assist with estate management and professional work for private and public sector clients with a view to more autonomy as experience is gained. Amongst other things, the job will include agricultural and residential property management, rent reviews, valuation, compensation claims (both for and against), telecoms, digital mapping, and some agency work. Clients include traditional landed estates, devolved and local government, private institutions, tenants, and owner-occupiers.

The position will be full-time based on a 37 hour week and will particularly suit an ambitious person who is interested in gaining experience in both rural and general practice work. An RICS accredited degree, preferably with a rural background, and a full Driving Licence are required.

We are a young team who work hard but with an emphasis on enjoying what we do and who we work for.
Other APC candidates are currently working towards their RICS qualifications within the firm and full support will be given in this respect.
