My Hinterland is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dynamic Land Management Operative to join our team. Our projects are carried out in smallholdings, large private estates, and agricultural settings, so we need someone who embraces working in various weather conditions. If you have the skills, creativity and drive to contribute innovatively to our exciting projects, we want to hear from you!

JOB ROLE INCLUDES:

• Fencing
• Bespoke carpentry & small building
• Woodland management
• Tree planting and felling
• Logging
• Mowing
• Hedge-laying
• Drainage management

KEY JOB SKILLS:

We expect the candidate to have some of these skills, with the willingness to train up for others:

• Chainsaw cross cutting and small felling, all ground based.
• First Aid + F qualification.
• Experience with equipment such as strimmers, brush cutters, small tractors, ride on mowers, mini diggers, ATV.
• Experience in agricultural & domestic fencing.
• Experience in carpentry or construction.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Self- starter attitude
• Comfortable working alone when safe to do so.

While this is primarily a team-based role, there will be opportunities for solo projects. For the right person, there is potential for growth within our business, including increased responsibilities and earning potential.
