Westover Large Animal Ltd is an independent and well-respected farm and equine vet practice in Norfolk. We’re looking to extend our farm clinical services by appointing a veterinary technician to work alongside our dedicated farm animal vets. This is an exciting new role within the practice, and the successful candidate will play a key part in shaping and developing the position alongside our veterinary team. Although experience in some of the potential services would be an advantage, we recognise that training will be required and will support the right candidate in gaining the necessary skills. The essential qualities we are looking for are confidence working with livestock, enthusiasm, and a genuine willingness to learn.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with livestock is essential
• Experience with some of the possible services listed above is preferred, though not essential.
• Must have a willingness to learn – the candidate will be expected to attend various training courses to increase the number of services that can be offered.
• Must be a capable communicator with clients and vets
• Must have an enthusiastic and self-motivated personality
• Must have a driving license.
