About the Estate:
Eling Estate is located north of Newbury Berkshire. It is a 4,800-acre estate owned and managed by the Gerald Palmer Eling Trust, which is a registered charity. The Estate comprises let farms and commercial forestry as well as a significant residential and commercial let portfolio. The woodlands are open to the public for walking and the Estate is working to create a fuller network of permissible access routes alongside improving space for nature.

Broad Description:
To assist in the day-to-day management of the more natural elements of Eling Estate as well as the Estate woodlands. The role will include maintenance and improvements of the public rights of way and permissive routes. Working alongside the tenant farmers and the in-hand woodland team to enhance the amenity of common parts of the Estate to balance amenity, appearance and environmental habitat.

This position may succeed the role of one or both of the retiring foresters in due course where the applicant has an interest in forestry, which would be an advantage
