We are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Business undergraduate placement student to join our Bus & Coach division, based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes.

This position is only available for universty undergraduates, who are graduating after June 2025, and are studying a Business degree or similar. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to key business initiatives and gain exposure to various aspects the business lifecycle and analytics.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Bus & Coach team to provide multi-level support across the business and assist with the day-to-day tasks required to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Dawsongroup bus and coach, adding a valuable contribution, whist gaining an overview of all departments.

This role will be a full time office based position, working 40 hours per week. Daily working hours will be 08:30 and 17:30 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.

The successful candidate will:

• Assist with external events
• Analyse data and helping key staff to use data to enhance the business.
• Gain a medium depth understanding of the purpose and functions within each of the key business areas.
• Offer practical support to other staff members, including deputization when absent or on leave.
• Receive external enquiries and ensure that are handled or dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
• Gain an understanding of our financial systems and instruments, and be able to use the data to make practical suggestions to benefit the business
• Visit supplier locations to inspect work in progress and report to management
• Any other duties as instructed by the Executive Assistant
