The Adwell Estate is looking to recruit a Graduate Estate Manager to take responsibility for all aspects of its development.

Adwell is a typical small agricultural estate where over the years we have developed various diversified businesses. In the current political and economic climate further development is necessary and we would like to employ someone to work with us with enthusiasm and conscientiousness to enable the estate to develop new businesses and manage the existing businesses efficiently.

Current businesses include holiday accommodation, residential and commercial lettings, office lets, events, filming and location hire, storage, renewable energy, environmental schemes and grant-funded projects. The farm is on a contract basis so overseeing that is part of the role.

Role description:

• A broad, hands-on role working directly with the owners of a historic Oxfordshire estate.
• Responsibility for property, tenants, contractors, maintenance and estate administration.
• A specific remit to identify and develop new income streams, building on some thoughts of the owners but also developing your own ideas.
• Exposure to planning, rural business, hospitality, renewable energy, commercial property and environmental opportunities.
• A structured route to become Estate Manager within perhaps two or three years.
