The British Texel Sheep Society is a forward-thinking, member-focused livestock charity at the heart of the UK sheep industry. With over 2,000 members and 18 regional clubs, it is one of the largest and most influential sheep breed societies in Europe.
Its purpose is the development of the British Texel breed, setting the standard for excellence across pedigree registrations, livestock improvement, and industry innovation. Working with the society means you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of activities, from attending livestock sales and shows to contributing to leading breed development services.
