New vineyard planted in May 2023. You will be an integral part of helping to grow and maintain the vines throughout the growing season and dormant season. The position may include a mix of weekday and weekend work.

Duties include:

- Performing vineyard duties of pruning, checking shoot positions, vine training and pest and disease identification.

- Keep vineyard records of cultural practices.

- Coordinates workflow and makes daily work assignments.

- Monitors vine health, notifies owners of findings, and may recommend changes to established procedures.

- Participates in planning for vineyard development and maintenance.

- Operates a variety of vineyard equipment such as tractors, forklifts, trucks,

mowers, sprayers and ATV’s. Maintains vineyard equipment as needed.

- Purchases miscellaneous vineyard supplies within established limits.

- Performs special projects as assigned.

Preferable - At least 2 years of prior experience working in horticultural operations.

Position can be either seasonal or full time; salary £27,000 pa or equivalent.
