About the farm

700ha Arable Farm growing all combinable crops including wheat, barley, spring beans, herbage seed, Borage. A good opportunity to gain experience in the harvesting and storage of a wide range of specialist crops along with cultivations to prepare for the following crops.

Regenerative Farming practices used on a significant area of the land farmed. Modern, and well maintained machinery including Stripper Header and Swathup Header for 2 year old Claas 7500TT.

The role

Tractor Driving and General Farm Work for 2 Students. There is work available for 1 student to start from mid-April 2025; 2nd student from 7th July

Work to include corn carting, teleporter work, mowing/topping, primary and secondary cultivations, use of Challenger 765 for cultivation and mole draining plus general farm work.

Previous tractor driving experience essential. Teleporter experience/licence an advantage.

Full Time – 39 hour basic week plus overtime (including weekend work)
