Description

How to Apply

Bidwells' Rural Summer Work Experience Scheme is a structured opportunity for prospective rural APC graduates. The scheme has been designed to give students an insight into the career of a rural surveyor and to help improve the knowledge of the key areas of surveying prior to graduate interviews.

Each successful candidate will shadow a variety of different people during their work experience. This aims to give students exposure to a variety of work.

The work will be designed to imitate typical projects given to graduates at the start of their careers including assistance with estate management, valuation of rural farms and estates, investigations into planning and financial information, exposure to renewables and assistance with rural properties that are for sale.

About you

Bidwells is looking for enthusiastic, rural graduates who want to understand more about joining the Firm as a graduate. Successful candidates may have or be studying towards a relevant Rural RICS accredited degree or a non-cognate degree.

It is recommended that applicants include GCSE or Standard Grades (or equivalent) and A-levels or Scottish Highers (or equivalent), other relevant work experience and any hobbies or achievements on their CV.
