Ceres Rural are recruiting, on behalf of a farming client, for a Part-time Weekend Farm Worker to work regularly roughly 8 hours or 16 hours in total, either 1 weekend in 2 OR 1 weekend in 4.

The role can be flexible in terms of total hours, weekend days (Sat/Sun) and times of  year worked. We believe this role may be of interest for someone looking for some extra regular income around other commitments they already have, either seasonally or all year round.

The Farm
The mixed farm operates Organic dairy, beef and arable enterprises, as well as integrated Agri-environment schemes complementary to food production and wildlife. The dairy herd also produces milk under a PWAB system, i.e. no antibiotic use.

Located on the Wiltshire / Gloucestershire border, it is a family farm under new management consultancy from Ceres Rural and this provides an excellent opportunity for someone to join a progressive farming team with staff wellbeing at the forefront of future strategy.

A variety of jobs can be available on the mixed livestock and arable farm, including milking cows, feeding calves/cows and operating farm equipment / machinery.

Previous experience is welcomed but not essential. More importantly, we are looking for an independent individual who is a good communicator and has a willingness to learn. Training provided as required.
