How to Apply

John Deere is a global leader in agricultural and turf equipment, committed to providing innovative solutions that empower farmers and landowners. Our Sales and Marketing team plays a vital role in communicating the value that John Deere offers to its customers and fostering strong relationships with our dealers. We are seeking to appoint one student for a 12-month placement at our head office in Langar, Nottingham.

Participating in a student work placement will not only enrich your CV but also allow you to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application. You will take on independent tasks and work on projects that will enhance both your professional and personal competencies. Throughout your journey, our supervisors and colleagues will be there to provide the support and guidance you need.

To join us in July 2025, we are seeking people for a Turf/Precision Guidance internship which will likely include the following responsibilities:

• Working with the Turf Training Manager for Europe.
• Organisation and development of training material for professional turf dealers.
• Support turf machinery shows and training events.
• Data validation for precision guided machinery in conjunction with an educational establishment or external business – working with high profile golf courses, Premier League football clubs, and fine sports turf across Europe.
• Working as part of the team you will be happy to roll up your sleeves to help with set up at training events across Europe and will get to enjoy the fruits of your labour by attending these events.
• Preparation of facilities, machinery, material, and schedules for training events.
• Processing spreadsheets.
• Competent with Microsoft packages, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Data analysis.
• This position would suit a general business student or one specialising in sports, an interest in golf would be beneficial but not a necessity.
