How to Apply

Whittaker & Biggs is a diverse privately owned independent company with four offices covering rural professional work, estate agency, lettings, commercial property consultancy and a furniture & antiques sale room.

Established in 1930, we provide a professional friendly service throughout North Staffordshire & South Cheshire, serving clients across Cheshire, the Staffordshire Moorlands, the Peak District National Park and beyond.

Due to an expanding client base and workload, we have an immediate requirement for a Trainee Rural Surveyor either leaving university this year or a person who is looking for a post to further their career and become qualified and who will provide support to the Rural Surveyors.

The role involves a broad spectrum of rural professional work including valuations, compulsory purchase, BPS, stewardship, compulsory purchase, sales & lettings and agricultural tenancy work.

Applicants need to be self-motivated, well presented, possess good communications skills with attention to detail and the ability to cope with a varied workload. A desire to progress within the firm to partnership level, a full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes is essential.

A competitive salary package according to skills and experience will be offered to the right candidate.

Membership of the CAAV & RICS is strongly encouraged by the firm and support will be available to gain qualifications with these professional bodies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop their career and to contribute to the growth of the Company. Commitment and hard work will be rewarded.

To apply please contact John Wilson on 07970 428319 or by email to john.wilson@whittakerandbiggs.co.uk. All applications will be dealt with in the strictest confidence, together with arrangements for interviews.
