We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Tractor Driver to join the Blackdown Growers team for the 2025 season (February-October). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating tractors to support the harvesting of baby leaves and herbs, as well as operating the telehandler and forklift when required. This role plays a crucial part in our agricultural operations, ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality produce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tractor Operation: Operate tractor equipped to transport harvested baby leaf and herb crops. Perform soil preparation, planting and harvesting tasks.
• Harvesting Support: Collaborate with harvesting teams to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
• Telehandler and Forklift Operation: Use a telehandler and forklift to handle and transport harvested produce.
• Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on tractors, telehandlers, and forklifts to ensure proper functionality. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly to managers.
• H&S Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery. Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety within the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a tractor driver in an agricultural setting. Proficient in the operation of tractors, telehandlers, and forklifts.
• Qualifications: Validdriver's license with a clean driving record.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with harvesting teams and other farm personnel.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours during our peak harvesting seasons.
• H&S Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery. Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety within the team.
