What is our Placement Surveyor programme?

Our Placement Surveying programme is a 12-month programme designed to give you a comprehensive exposure to surveying within Utilities & Infrastructure. Through working on live projects, learning from industry experts and networking opportunities, we will help you to building your technical and professional skills needed for a career and to make the valuable contributions towards your academic fulfilments for your degree.

What will you get up to? What does the job involve?

In a nutshell, our Placement Surveyors will be working on utilities and infrastructure projects helping to manage land-related issues during the development of infrastructure like pipelines, power lines, or roads. Their role includes negotiating access agreements, assessing and handling compensation claims for landowners, ensuring compliance with regulations, and minimising the impact of projects on agricultural land and rural properties.

You will act as the valuable intermediary between our clients and landowners, overseeing effective land access and management while ensuring fair compensation and resolving disputes.
