  4. You will be required to assist with the monitoring of mares for late evening scans and foaling.
  5. We will go through the aspects of mare management, follicle evaluation, post-breeding treatments and early pregnancy scanning with our resident vet.

  7. Semen collection and evaluation will be performed and discussed
  8. It will be beneficial to have a theoretical knowledge of equine reproduction including anatomy, physiology and ultrasound scanning.
  9. There must be NO discussion or posting on internet/social networking sites of cases or other details from the stud outside of the stud farm.
  10. There is no financial charge for coming and therefore no financial remuneration either.
  11. Accommodation: single shared accommodation is available (usually), free of charge; you have to provide your own food, duvet, bed linen and towels. Clothes washing facilities are provided.
  12. You need to bring outdoor working clothes including wellington boots and a strong pair of walking type boots.
  13. Health and Safety Policy: you will agree to read, fully understand, implement and abide to the policy.
