How to Apply
Yorkshire Water manages the collection, treatment and distribution of water around the Yorkshire region, supplying around 1.24 billion litres of drinking water each day – that’s a lot of water!
Here in Yorkshire we make sure that all 5.2 million people living in the region have clean safe drinking water on tap and their waste water taken away. But for us it's so much more than this.
We care passionately about the environments and communities in which we work; we always look for new innovative ways to do things that deliver great value for our business and deliver the service our customers want and expect.
The water industry as a whole is facing a number of challenges, from population growth to water scarcity to climate change to name a few. So, one thing you will never be short of is challenges!
If you have an enquiring mind and want to challenge the way we do things, come and join our Graduate Scheme and help shape our future.
Our Strategy and Regulation Graduate Programme will give you a solid grounding in how we manage and develop strategies, programmes and projects to maintain and improve the essential services we deliver for customers and the environment, both for today and long into the future. The Programme will also explore how we work closely with regulatory organisations and changing regulatory requirements to champion great outcomes for our customers.
You will join an exciting team that works right across the business and with many stakeholders to shape the Company’s direction and performance. There will be opportunity to work in a variety of functions from strategy and sustainability, to regulation and corporate affairs, to partnerships and land management. There will be a breadth of experience and activities to help you develop your skills and knowledge over the two-year programme. We will encourage you to push yourself to learn new skills so that there is continues personal and professional development through the course of the programme
