Relief Milker/Stockperson Required For Abbey Home Farm, Cirencester, Glos
An enthusiastic and flexible person is required for relief milking and stock work at Abbey Home Farm commencing in the Autumn 2024. Providing relief cover, including milking our small herd of Shorthorn cows, general stock duties and other farm work. Alternate weekends, flexible working on 1 or 2 days per week and providing holiday cover as required.
Abbey Home Farm is a 650ha mixed multi-enterprise organic farm near Cirencester. Enterprises include: dairy, pigs, poultry, beef, sheep, arable, on-farm dairy processing and on-farm poultry processing. There is also a farm shop and an emphasis on public access. The successful applicant will be involved with all of the farm enterprises, providing an opportunity to use and extend their skills and gain an understanding of organic production systems. Experience of organic production is not required.
Remuneration will be based on experience.
