Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Poultry Workers to join our team. This role involves various tasks related to the care and management of poultry, ensuring their health and well-being while maintaining a clean and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to perform physical tasks effectively.

Duties

• Provide daily care for poultry monitoring health conditions.
• Maintain cleanliness in poultry housing areas by regularly cleaning and sanitising spaces.
• Assist in the irrigation of gardens or fields where poultry may roam or forage.
• Operate hand tools and power tools for maintenance and repair of equipment used in poultry care.
• Perform bedding, or other materials.
• Conduct basic maths calculations for feed ratios and inventory management.
• Carry out routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues for repair.
• Support the overall maintenance of the farm environment, including gardens or other areas where poultry are housed.

Skills

• Experience with animal care, particularly in handling poultry, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic maths skills for managing feed quantities and inventory levels.
• Previous experience in gardening or agricultural environments is an advantage but not essential.
