Puffin Produce Ltd was established over 40 years ago, our growing business delivers high quality produce to UK supermarkets all year round. We work very closely with our dedicated growers right through from crop planning to
storage and packing of the end product through our state-of-the-art potato factory.

An excellent career opportunity has arisen in Pembrokeshire either for a BASIS/FACTS qualified agronomist or an experienced arable person with a good knowledge of potatoes and/or vegetables with the right attitude and skills to pass BASIS. This is a team role and you would be required to check crop growth & development as well as giving technical advice on crops to ensure quality and yield success.

Candidate requirements

• Relevant degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or related plant science.
• Good knowledge of and passion for UK Agriculture and potato/vegetable production.
• BASIS/FACTS qualified or the ability to gain these qualifications in the short term.
• People person with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to build great relationships with our team and growers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; IT Literate
• Full UK driving licence.
