We currently have part time pony handler opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated individuals with experience in the equine industry to join our dedicated team at Pampered Ponies, Ockeridge, Worcester.

It is essential you enjoy working with the general public and children.

You will be required to lead ponies, giving rides safely and efficiently.

You will be involved in running birthday parties, pony experiences and school holiday activities.

Hours are negotiable, however at least one weekend day is required, school holidays being our busiest times.

Working under the supervision of existing team leaders you will work as part of a team ensuring that our ponies/horses have access to suitable water, feed & shelter, hygiene is maintained and that paddocks are checked and clean. You will carry out visual health checks along with assisting the farrier and vet teams plus undertake various yard duties.

This is a busy environment and candidates should understand the importance of effective communication, observation and unified teamwork.

They will liaise regularly with line management and be able to follow instructions as well as using their own initiative.

A sound knowledge of horse health and welfare is necessary, as is familiarity with health & safety regulations.
