Henley Royal Regatta attracts over 300,000 spectators each year and is one of the most prestigious sporting and social occasions in the world. We are recruiting for a summer placement student to work in the Event Organiser’s Office for approximately six weeks, prior to and during this year’s Regatta - 27 June to 2 July 2023.
The successful candidate will be involved in the final preparations for the event, gaining valuable, practical work experience. The role is to include the day-today management of the site construction, contractors and utilities, as well as all event accreditation.
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to interface at all levels within the organisation, with contractors, the general public and other third parties. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential to the role, and candidates should be computer literate.
Previous event experience is preferred but not essential. Although this is a placement position, it is a paid role.
