We are looking for a Management Trainee with experience in agriculture to help manage our projects in East Kalimantan.

The candidate will be based in a company house with a team of up to 100 employees, responsible for managing 500 hectares of productive oil palm crop.

Responsibilities:

*building and maintaining relationships and partnerships with local communities (government bodies and employees)
*maintaining close relationships with REA’s senior team in London (head office), and Balikpapan (administrative office) to ensure optimum performance at all levels of management.

Requirements:

*Bachelor Degree (Hons) in Agriculture
*2 year’s work experience as a program officer/assistant, farm manager or similar, requiring expert management of and engagement in agriculture
sociable with good communication skills
*able to adequately understand and verbally communicate in English, a strong desire to learn local language and an ability to learn quickly
*hardworking, disciplined, independent, committed and works comfortably in a team

*an ability to deal with living in an isolated environment and an unfamiliar cultural and social landscape.
