How to Apply
PT REA Kaltim Plantations is an international resources company, primarily focused on sustainable palm oil cultivation. We are looking for applicants with a sense of adventure and determination to begin a career with us in an exciting environment. After completing the training program, which will last approximately 6 to 8 months, you will start your position as a Junior Assistant Estate Manager.
The training program will teach you how to cultivate, manage and successfully produce sustainable palm oil. The program will help to give you the confidence to manage large teams. Included in the training program are weekly
language lessons in Bahasa Indonesian.
A successful applicant will then transition into a management position.
Outlined below is the role and some of the expected responsibilities you will be expected to carry out after completing your training program:
Your role in the company will be as a Junior Assistant Estate Manager. You will work closely with your team of Foreman, other Junior/ Senior Assistants as well as the Estate manager. You will be managing approximately 500 ha of
palm oil and 100 workers.
Ensuring your workers meet their daily targets.
Managing harvesting, upkeep, chemical application and fertilizer application teams daily.
Following the fertilizer and chemical application plans provided by our in house agronomist team.
Managing a small team of light trucks and a tractor, to evacuate your palm oil crop and send to the mill for processing.
Quality control, you will ensure that the workers and foreman follow the company SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedures), which will enable you to ensure high quality harvesting is maintained.
