Lowick Manor Farms is an arable contract farming business covering over 700ha of arable land in Northamptonshire; growing wheat, beans, OSR and spring barley & spring oats. We are looking for a keen harvest student to join the team from early July to mid-September.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Driving corn cart – JD 6R Series tractor
• Carting compost
• Estate maintenance – mowing, helping with tree surgery etc.

Lowick Manor Farms also runs a commercial compost facility and forms part of the wider Drayton Estate; there will be jobs relating to both the compost site and the wider estate that may not be directly related to the arable operation.

Start and finish dates are not set in stone and can be flexible for the right candidate.

Due to the nature of the job candidates will be expected to work long hours alongside the combine operator and the rest of the farm team.
Prior experience driving agricultural machinery is not necessary but preferential.

Accommodation can be provided if necessary and wages depend on experience.
