How to Apply

A harvest worker is required for the 2025 harvest on 1,700 acre family farm in West Essex. The farm specialises in grass seed production as well as growing wheat, barley, oats, beans and borage.

The period of employment will be from the 1st July to the 1st September but start and finish dates can be flexible.

Main harvest duties will include carting grain away from Claas Lexion 760TT, operating 4m Krone Mower, 8m Hay-Tedder and carting hay/straw. Tractor fleet includes Fendt 828, Fendt 724, Fendt 820 and Kramer/JCB telehandlers.

Other duties will include grain store preparation and general machinery maintenance.

Good rates of pay are offered and mobile-home accommodation is provided. You will need to be at least 21 years old, hold a current GB driving licence and be a competent tractor driver; telescopic fork-lift experience is advantageous.

Training and support will be offered throughout your employment but a motivated individual with a willingness to learn is essential.
