J.A Shaw & Partners is a 3,600 acre arable farm, with a flock of 100 Texel ewes and 400 ewe lambs, situated on the Bedfordshire/Hertfordshire border.
Two harvest students are required from July to September. The job will involve driving current up-to-date John Deeres (7350R, 6215R, 6155R’s, 6930) in the role of corn carting from a Claas Lexion 8900 combine and some light cultivation work.
The successful candidates will be expected to carry out tasks on their own and work well as part of a team.
A full driving licence, forklift certificate (not critical) and non-smokers are preferred.
Accommodation and evening meals are provided with good wages.
