An opportunity has arisen to join the Great Tew Grain Processing team, over harvest from July to September 2025.

We are looking for a highly motivated, hardworking individual to join our small, dedicated team. Standard hours will be 7.30 – 16.30 Monday to Friday, overtime and weekend will be required on a rota basis.

Role and responsibilities:

• Testing grain in the laboratory
• Record keeping
• Use of computer systems
• Day to day operation of the grain processing site
• Communicating with hauliers, merchants, colleagues
• Cleaning and preparing the site for harvest (sweeping, hoovering etc.)
• Operating the grain dryer

Requirements:

• No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided
• Full UK driving licence
• The applicant needs to be highly motivated, show good communication skills and being able to work under pressure and to a deadline
• Flexible attitude towards work
• Flexible approach towards hours during peak periods
• Tele-handler (preferable but not essential)
• Basic IT Skills
