GRB are recruiting for a Graduate Trainee Accountant & Business Advisor for a chartered accountancy practice who specialise in working with businesses in the farming and agri business space. The role is based in Stamford, Lincolnshire and is ideal for a 2025 graduate looking to start a career in accountancy in September.

About the Role

As a Graduate Trainee Accountant & Business Advisor, you will be fully immersed in the world of accountancy, receiving broad exposure across three key areas:

• Accounts (1/3 of the role): Client onboarding, company secretarial tasks, VAT returns, draft corporation and personal tax returns, HMRC investigations, and more.
• Tax (1/3 of the role): Preparing tax returns, managing electronic tax systems, drafting client letters, and handling a variety of tax-related responsibilities.
• Audit (1/3 of the role): Visiting clients, conducting stock takes, and assisting with company audits.

This is a full-time, office-based role (9:00 am – 5:30 pm), offering early exposure to clients and real-world accountancy challenges.
