Lambert & Foster are an independent firm of rural property professionals operating throughout the south east. We provide the full package of property and planning services and are looking to expand our team by appointing a Graduate Rural Surveyor.

The successful candidate will initially be based from our Head Office in Paddock Wood, which is one hour from central London. Once established in the role, there will be opportunities to transfer to our Wadhurst office in East Sussex or our Hythe office, situated in East Kent.

We are a RICS regulated firm offering the full spectrum of property and planning services, including estate management, valuation, rural agency, estate agency, auction and rural professional work, and via our sister company, Bloomfields, a wide range of planning and development work. The joy of working in the south east is the diverse mix of land uses, both in agricultural and non-agricultural terms. This provides a rich and varied experience for Graduates, laying a solid foundation for a rewarding career ahead.

The role will involve working in our established team of qualified Chartered Surveyors and Registered Valuers, alongside other graduates already on their RICS qualification journey. Under the supervision of a Director of the firm, the successful candidate will gain experience in a wide range of rural surveying disciplines, including valuation, rural agency, landlord and tenant, environmental schemes and grants, planning and development.

We need a motivated, adaptable and organised person with a willingness to learn. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator, with good presentation skills.

Applicants will be given full support and the relevant experience required to undertake the APC and CAAV examinations.

Location of role: Paddock Wood Kent (although transfer to our Wadhurst or Hythe offices is an option)
