We are seeking a Graduate Rural Surveyor to assist Senior Surveyors within our busy Yorkshire practice in Knaresborough, who is keen to learn and get involved with the business in all types of rural property advice.
Role & Responsibilities
Professional work will include, but will not be limited to, assisting with RICS Red Book Valuations, preparation of grazing licences, FBT’s and Contract Farming arrangements, planning & development, utility company and other compensation claims and advising on environmental schemes.
Essential Skills & Requirements
The person we are seeking will have a keen interest in the property sector and in agriculture, with the ability to build on client relationships and establish new contacts. You will be a good communicator and well organised with attention to detail. You will also be self-motivated to work both on your own and be a good team player, have experience of working with Microsoft office packages and ideally digital mapping systems.
A full UK driving licence with your own car is essential.
APC candidate or Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and ideally a Probationer member or Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. We will pay the annual RICS and CAAV subscriptions and provide support for the exams if not qualified.
Salary package commensurate with experience.
