Finn’s serves a wide range of agricultural, commercial, development and residential clients. The firm’s busy and wide-ranging workload, most of which is within Kent, includes valuations, planning, landlord/tenant matters, compulsory purchase claims, farm and land sales, management of various landed estates, renewable energy, and residential and commercial development (this forms its Professional Department). The firm also has a separate Residential Sales and Lettings Department.

About the role:

We have a vacancy for a graduate rural surveyor to join our team to help cope with an increasing workload. The main areas of work are listed below, but the role can expand to suit all sectors of rural based work on which this firm thrives.

The role will be varied and will include but is not limited to the following:

 Landlord and tenant advice; agricultural and commercial
 Planning; rural planning applications, enforcement, diversification, and LPA advice
 Valuations for banks, private individuals, probate, and general tax planning
 Environmental and subsidy advice; BPS, SFI, CSS and other grant applications and advice on these
 Farm sales, land sales, lettings, and purchases
 Business advice and planning
 Compensation claims

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a stimulating and fast-moving environment but can operate largely on their own in conjunction with the partners who together form a progressive team. He/she should be RICS/CAAV qualified or on that path. For our part we will provide a dynamic
