NB Masters Sponsorship: If you do not currently have an RICS or an RTPI accredited degree and are applying for a Surveying or Planning role, you will be required to complete a post graduate degree. This degree will be funded by the apprenticeship levy (with no cost to the student). As an apprenticeship course, graduates will require 20% ‘off the job training’ from day 1 of the apprenticeship, right through to the APC submission. This ‘off the job training’ does not necessarily mean only studying, but also attending client meetings, site visits, shadowing another team and any other new relevant learning. The non-cognate route, will mean that the graduate will sit their APC later (2.5 year training programme for Surveyors and 3 years for Planners).
