How to Apply
We are a mixed farm near Cirencester: 450 acres arable rotation, 400 sheep, 200 calf rearing spaces, 50 finishing cattle. We are looking for a general farm worker, initially from June to September but a permanent role could be available thereafter if desired.
Main tasks would include feeding and bedding calves and finishing cattle, checking and helping with care for flock of 400 sheep and their lambs, some tractor work depending on the season. Also fencing, mucking-out, gathering sheep and sorting calves. Corn-carting during harvest.
The farm is located about 10 miles east of Cirencester. Hours of work can be discussed but generally weekdays 8.30am till 5.30pm with some evenings and Saturdays during harvest. Pay £10 per hour.
Please note there is no accommodation available with this role.Some experience would useful. Telehandler qualification also useful. Full driving licence and confidence driving large machinery is essential.
