Progressive role on a mixed farm with a robotic dairy and automated youngstock and calf rearing unit.

We are a mixed family farm, with over 500 head of cattle, farming 680 acres in Leicestershire - we currently have 3 x A5 Lely robots, Discovery hoovers with a brand-new automatic calf and youngstock rearing unit, we pride ourselves on high levels of herd health and the performance of all our stock.

This is an exciting opportunity for a keen stockperson with tractor driving skills to join our team. 

The role will include being involved in the development and commissioning of facilities for a 4th dairy robot within the next 12 months. 

The applicant should be able to demonstrate they are self-motivated and can have a positive influence within a team. The role requires a high level of attention to detail in all areas, particularly focussing on stockmanship, as well as being a competent tractor driver.

We are keen to ensure the candidate receives ongoing training and development and that the role is progressive.

Salary – to be discussed and depends on experience.
