Job Description:

• General estate activities - grass cutting, spray application, trailer work, telehandler operator
• Farm property maintenance - fencing, tree and hedging work
• Helping with livestock enterprises (sheep and beef herd)
• Helping with the shoot
• Maintenance of grass and all-weather gallops and other equestrian facilities, including weekend cover every other weekend
• Paddock care & maintenance
• Preparation for the Horse Trials
• Machinery maintenance & repair

Candidate Profile:

• Reliable, hardworking and trustworthy
• Enthusiastic and willingness to learn
• Able to use initiative and solve problems, but also to take direction and work under and with others as part of a small team
• Have basic skills and experience (tractor driving, PA1 & PA2, chainsaw, brush cutter, manual handling, telehandler, first aid, etc) but we can provide further training
• Live locally or prepared to relocate
• Full driving licence
