How to Apply

White Horse Energy is a leading e-commerce supplier of sustainable biofuels, with offices based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. As a business we strive to continually evolve, being game changers by challenging industry norms.

Our business has grown rapidly to become one of the largest companies within the market. This substantial growth has resulted in many opportunities for diversification and investment in new ventures. One of these is a UK Government innovation contract, for which we are currently in our second year of development. The project involves working to establish a domestic supply chain of renewable energy in the form of biomass, beginning at UK farm level.

As a result, we are looking to appoint a Field-Testing & Agricultural Engagement Coordinator, primarily to support our project delivery team in engaging with key agricultural stakeholders and coordinating farm-site testing of the prototype developed.

We are proud to work closely with the Royal Agricultural University in supporting the placement student scheme. We would welcome applications from relevant agricultural and farm management disciplines, opportunities are also available for recent graduates to support this project.

Your Role:

In supporting our innovation project, you will network both across the entire business and externally with a range of agricultural and technical stakeholders. This position will therefore be an excellent springboard for numerous career opportunities within agriculture, sustainability and beyond.

There will many projects to get involved in straightaway, including:

  • Coordinating the field testing of our technology across UK farms
  • Developing and implementing an agricultural engagement strategy
  • Ownership of a focus area within a publicly funded contract

Our ideal candidate would be ambitious and a dependable member of the team, meeting the following key attributes:

  • A strong academic background
  • High level of IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness of working in a professional office environment
  • Committed and enthusiastic for new challenges
