How to Apply
We are looking for someone to join the Cotswolds National Landscape team to help deliver the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) programme.
Created by Defra, and managed by AONB and National Park teams across the country, FiPL helps farmers, land managers and others to deliver work on the farmed landscape under the themes of climate, nature, people and place.
Working as part of a team of four, you’ll provide advice and guidance to potential grant applicants; support the development of applications and present them to an assessment panel, who will judge applications; monitor and assess progress of projects; assess and approve claims; and provide information for programme reports.
Ideally, you’ll have relevant qualifications, and experience of working with a broad range of external stakeholders, in particular farmers and land managers. Familiarity with current agri-environment schemes would be an advantage.
Hybrid working is encouraged allowing the role to work remotely, but there is an expectation of a presence for team working and meetings two days per week at our offices in Gloucester, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Upper Rissington. The role will include travel throughout the Cotswolds.
Salary - £30,121. Full-time 37 hours per week. Fixed term contract to 31st March 2025.
