We are now offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for a driven, successful Farm Trader to represent Wynnstay and join our Arable Division in the North Yorkshire area.

The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Trading arable products and purchasing grain to achieve predetermined targets relating to sales, volumes and margins
• Developing and generating arable business for Wynnstay, identifying leads or opportunities through calling campaigns in line with seasonal trends and networking with colleagues and suppliers
• Building and maintaining constructive relationships through providing technical product support to arable customers
• Fully utilising the Sales support and CRM functions, to monitor customer and sales trends for determining key accounts and future sales strategies
• Producing weekly activity and sales reports to the Arable Sales Manager

The Person:

The successful candidate will:

• Have accredited knowledge of combinable crop seed, forage seed and fertiliser
• Possess established customer relations skills
• Have experience of working campaigns and networking
• Be an experienced negotiator
• Possess knowledge of CRM (preferred but not essential)
• Be IT proficient
