Lough Cutra Estate is a modern working estate located in South Galway, West of Ireland. Its activities include farming, forestry and property but over the last decade the estate has diversified and now includes weddings and events including Ireland's largest triathlon.

Candidate to have experience in the day to day running of an estate but is also commercially minded. Ability to work off own initiative. The bandwith of the role is wide; the estate manager will oversee property management, including residential lettings, farm and forestry management and to an increasing degree event management. Being highly personable, a problem solver and not afraid to roll your sleeves up will be vital.

Position would suit a graduate or post-graduate with some previous farm & estate management experience

Personal requirements:

• Great communication skills, a high degree of common sense
• Basic farming experience
• Farm machinery operation and maintenance including chainsaw licence
• Basic animal husbandry and handling experience
• First aid. If not training would be encouraged
• Property management experience

Full driving licence and own vehicle ideally

Salary: TBC depending on experience
