Westonbirt School is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial Polo Team Manager to lead, develop and promote all aspects of our Polo provision, delivered in partnership with the world-famous Beaufort Polo Club.
This is both a strategic and operational role, responsible for delivering an outstanding pupil experience while building a vibrant, sustainable and high-profile Polo programme that directly supports pupil recruitment and admissions.
Initially the role will be heavily weighted towards building and promoting the programme, forging relationships, marketing and pupil recruitment. Over time, as the number of players builds, the role will rebalance towards a mix of these aspects and operational management of players and programmes and raising the school’s profile through participation in fixtures and tournaments.
The successful candidate will combine a passion for Polo and player development with the entrepreneurial and business development skills needed to create and fill the Polo programme as an important driver of new pupil attraction, enrolment and retention.

Person Specification

Essential:
Strong background and connections in the world of Polo
Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to lead and develop a multi-faceted programme
Entrepreneurial flair
A passion for working with young people and developing potential
Confidence engaging with prospective families and representing the school

Desirable:
Coaching qualifications / experience
