How to Apply
At WWT we create and conserve wetlands and save species. As one of the UK’s leading wetland conservation organisations we have a long history of managing wetland sites and species as well as conducting research into wetland wildlife. We are offering full-time placements for 12 months in four different roles, starting in August/September 2021, across eight beautiful WWT Wetland Reserves located throughout the UK.
The reserve placement roles available are: Reserves Management HQ Office & Research Placement, Practical Reserve Management Placements, and Practical Conservation Grazing Placement. There is also one placement role supporting the Conservation Evidence department. These are voluntary roles, but accommodation can be provided at some locations.
Attached are the descriptions for the placement roles. Please note the conservation evidence placement has a separate application form. The role descriptions will explain these opportunities in full and also give details on how to apply. These documents and application details are also all available at https://www.wwt.org.uk/join-and-support/volunteering/volunteer-placements.
