This is a full-time role for an Assistant Farm Manager at Yatesbury House Farm. The Assistant Farm Manager will be responsible for tasks such as: cattle welfare and recording; field operations (tillage and weeding, sowing, forage making, harvesting) machinery readiness; grain storage (maintenance, crop monitoring, and store cleaning).

Qualifications

Farm Management skills

Agricultural knowledge and practical experience

Cattle handling and calving experience

Experience in organic and biodynamic farming practices would be a bonus

Ability to work in a team or independently, and to delegate by leading

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Telehandler certificate of competence

On road trailer experience

DT & Mathematics GCSE

A degree in Agriculture or related subjects would be a plus
