We have an exciting opportunity here at NSF to join our Agriculture team as an Agriculture Scheme Lead – Beef, Lamb, and Postgate!
You will be our “go to” expert for all information regarding the livestock industry (beef and lamb) and elements in the supply chain, livestock transport and livestock markets. You will be the technical liaison with the associated scheme owners, as well as seeking new business opportunities. The suitable
candidate will have expert knowledge of good agricultural practice, and the key reputational risk areas, including issues that are on the consumers’ minds.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• HND/Degree in Agriculture or related subject
• Relevant and practical experience in the scheme areas associated with the role
• Political understanding of the relevant sector NSF Confidential
• Ability to make difficult decisions, approaching them in a fair and logical way
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly motivated and enthusiastic
• Ability to organise and prioritise the workloads of self and team
• Proficient with key Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. with a desire to learn new business-related software
• Excellent understanding of the operation of third-party Certification Schemes within the Agricultural sectors (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience in negotiating and having difficult conversations (advantageous but not essential)
• Lead assessor qualification (advantageous but not essential)
• Training qualification (advantageous but not essential)
