The New Forest Agricultural Show Society, founded in 1920, organises the New Forest & Hampshire County Show, attracting around 80,000 visitors over three days each July.

Background and Experience

Strong organisational skills are needed, with the ability to multitask and keep calm. The ability to deal with people from a diverse background is paramount to making a success of this role.

The ideal candidate will come from a farming and or agricultural background and have a thorough understanding of the requirements around “showing cattle” at a public event and be up to date with DEFRA regulations.

You will likely have come from a busy office environment where you worked closely with your colleagues and are happy to pitch in when required. Full training will be provided.
